The 2018 trends for children’s parties are particularly innovative and have a notable component of simplicity  and “do it yourself” that give a personal and intimate touch to every event.

Pastel colors: quartz pink and serenity blue

The colors of fashion this year are made up of the combination of pink and pastel blue, which are called quartz  and  serenity . So here’s a great way to decorate your daughter’s baby shower or first year party with traditional pink.  Together, these colors form a rather curious palette that inspires modernity, calm and sweetness.

They are ideal colors for vintage, romantic and shabby chic themes. Plus, combined with dark, pastel colors or small doses of neon, they add personality to the party. Use and combine them without any hesitation.

More abstract and general themes

The characters that fascinate our little ones offer the right opportunity to organize parties with broader and even personalized themes, derived from the hobbies or passions of children or parents.

For example, your child might be a violin virtuoso or a music lover. This would make a great theme for an elegant party that highlights your child’s personality. If your daughter likes painting, a great thematic and educational party could be dedicated to “colors” or the “gallery”.

Calligraphy begins to take on importance in the decorative field. Toppers with beautiful letters decorate the space, including desserts. The trend that the birthday boy’s name is part of the decoration is also very fashionable at this time. Just as the choice of font for the invitation cards and decoration is an aspect to which you must pay attention.

Huge balloons and confetti

The decorations of this 2018 are exaggerated in size, but not in quantity. Large, helium-filled balloons are a  must in decoration. Number shaped balloons are very fashionable. Confetti, like pompoms, also grow in size.
